Evolution of Quilting and Embroidery by Sue Hausmann

Join Sue Hausmann, host of the popular Public Television Series America Sews and America Quilts Creatively and Green Valley “snowbird”!  Sue is bringing a number of quilts dating from 1860 to present to share how the heritage of quilting brings inspiration to us today. Her powerpoint presentation shows close ups of even more quilts and techniques.  She will also bring quilted projects, many of them from the TV shows, to demonstrate quilting techniques created with the technology, tools, and patterns of today.   

Precut Pizzazz with Kimberly Einmo

Precut fabric bundles are all the rage right now and Kimberly has taken Jelly Roll strips and Layer Cake squares to a whole new level of fun in her book, Jelly Roll Quilts and More and her next soon-to-be released book, Jelly Roll Magic Quilts! Come join Kimberly as she shares some great new techniques while you create your own happy quilt from a Layer Cake. You’ll not only hone your precision piecing skills, you’ll explore various ways to use those specialty sewing machine feet while you machine appliqué and embellish your designs with decorative stitches and threads, trims and more. Come prepared to learn and recharge your creative mojo while you have a fabulous time!

Practice machine quilting techniques while you create a special place to
display your sewing and quilting logo pins.

Dresden Plate Table Mat
The class table mat is 28″ in diameter. The pattern can also be enlarged
easily later to 45″ to 60″ in diameter to create a lovely Christmas tree skirt or patio table cover.

Kimberly Einmo Presents:

Precut Pizzazz
This class uses a layer cake and a few coordinating fabrics to help you learn
positioning skills and sewing techniques that you’re sure to use over and over again.

The $149 fee includes hands-on teacher instruction for all workshops and all on-site room access. Hotel stay is not required for this event.
